I just re-read the passage in Luke wh...Hey L's<br /><br />I just re-read the passage in Luke where Mary was told about the birth of Jesus (Luke 1:26-37). I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly, but are you saying she was asked if she wanted to be the mother of the Christ? If so, the text of Luke does not bear that out nor, I believe, does anything else in scripture. Certainly, she was willing and expressed no doubt as to God's ability but confusion as to the mechanics. Her faithfulness and trust is an example all Christians should emulate.
